“I have to buy her something!” he told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, a resort casino. “I’ll pick something up tonight.”

Asked if he’d pick her up some golf clubs, he laughed: “I don’t know if she’d like that!”

“I think I’ll take her out to dinner,” he added, “a nice restaurant.”

Romo — who is in Lake Tahoe for a golf tournament — said he and Simpson are renting a house.

“We’ll be here all week,” he said. “We’ll probably rent a boat and go out on the lake on Saturday.”

Simpson’s birthday celebrations kicked off Monday when she dined with Romo, her pregnant sister Ashlee and husband Pete Wentz at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California.

“We had a get together,” Romo said.

Following dinner, Simpson and Romo hit West Hollywood’s Key Club to see Steel Panther (formerly known as Metal Skool).

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback even tried his hand at singing the Guns n’ Roses hit “Sweet Child O’ Mine” to Simpson and the crowd.

Jessica Simpson is headed to Sin City.

The singer, 27, just snapped up a luxury, 1,200-square feet one-bedroom suite inside the new Palms Place residential resort in Las Vegas. Pics of the one-bedroom suites are to the left.

The deal has been in the works for awhile.

“She first showed interest when she was still with Nick,” a source close to Simpson tells Usmagazine.com. “It was originally supposed to be for both of them, but then she decided to just get a smaller unit for herself.”

Another source close to the singer tells Us: “The location of the condo is spectacular. It’s right at the top of the tower, and it’s got great views of the strip. It’s really cool!”

The Palms Place (located next to the Palms Palace Hotel and Casino) offers a two-story Drift Spa and Simon at Palms Place, a restaurant and lounge by celeb chef Kerry Simon.

“We are thrilled that Jessica is among the first to purchase at Palms Place,” said Palms Place owner George Maloof in a statement. “We’ve created a resort atmosphere unlike anything on or off the Las Vegas Strip.”

“True,” said Simpson, who has romanced John Mayer, Adam Levine and Jude Law, since ending her marriage to Nick Lachey.

This isn’t the first time she had dropped an interesting bit about an ex. (In September’s Elle, she vaguely mentioned, “I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”)

She says she is in a better place now, admitting that she isn’t afraid to speak publicly about her romance with Romo.

“I believe when you are in love, you might as well stand up on the mountaintop and say it,” she said on The View.

On the Late Show With David Letterman Thursday, she poked fun at critics who accused her of jinxing Romo’s career.

“I really think it’s because I was wearing a pink No. 9 jersey and not a blue one,” she said.

“If you had been in blue that wouldn’t be a problem?” asked Letterman.

“Well, so far I’ve been wearing blue, and they’re doing great,” she replied. “I’ll never wear a pink one again!”

Instead of explaining that her undergarments had bunched up or giving any kind of excuse, Gaga deferred giving an answer, saying it was beneath her. Maybe Gaga understandably took offense at the question, which wasn’t phrased delicately.

As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t really have a problem with Lady Gaga. I don’t think she’s as original or as groundbreaking as she thinks she is, but generally speaking, she seems pretty harmless. But one thing I do find funny is how everyone basically goes along with the idea that she’s “23 years old”. Really? I mean, she honestly might be 23, if she’s lived a really, really, rough life, but the girl looks like mid to late thirties to me. Now Lady Gaga is opening up about her rough life, though - and we may have an answer for why she looks older than the Grande Dame of Gristle herself, Madonna.

According to Gaga, she “did bags and bags of cocaine” back in the day (“the day” = 2005). Gaga says that all she would so is sit around doing coke and listening to The Cure. It sounds a lot like me when I was thirteen, minus the endless coke supply.

It’s rather pointless to wonder what’s wrong with Lindsay Lohan anymore. There are people who you can tell are going through a phase, and then there are people who you can tell that’s just who they are. Lindsay isn’t just some careless girl acting out in her early twenties. This is who she is, and I honestly feel it’s who she always will be. Mostly it’s a numbers game: she just has too many issues working against her. And not enough going for her in terms of intellect and self-awareness. But Lindsay’s not content with merely destroying her own life – she’s got to bring others down with her.

According to Life & Style, Lindsay’s become super close with her 15-year-old sister Ali. From what I’ve noticed it seems like they’ve always been fairly close, especially considering there’s an 8 year age difference between them. And technically Lindsay lives on the west coast while Ali lives on Long Island with their mom. But apparently in the last year or so, as Lindsay’s fallen farther and farther into the crazy pit, she’s been relying more and more on Ali – to the point that Ali has dropped out of high school to spend all her time with Lindsay. Technically she’s in a home school program, but no one believes she’s really doing it; it’s just for legality’s sake.

Yikes. I’ve just been looking at the slideshow for Megan Fox’s Rolling Stone cover shoot, and this sh-t is not good. First, the cover shot - what were they thinking?!? Mark Seliger is the photographer, and he must have said, “Let’s throw a Victoria’s Secret leotard from 1994 on Megan, get her to spread her legs for the camera and see how cheap we can make her look!” Also: Mouth-breather alert! There are eight images in all in the slideshow, and Megan only has her mouth closed in one of the photos. That’s bad enough, but the way the shoot was styled is epically ghastly. These look like cheap, terribly lit outtakes from an “adult film” starring Jenna Jameson.
